Fume is one of a number of brands established by e-cigarette specialists BFL Metal  Production Ltd of China.

BFL were one of the first companies to make e-cigarettes, and today they’re market leaders around the world. Other brands from the same stable include LOY and LD.

Fume vapes are brightly colored, disposable, and available in a range of different flavors and capacities. They all contain nicotine, so they’re addictive. And they’re designed to appeal to those trying to quit smoking, as well as to those who’ve never smoked.

The Ultra has a slightly large tank than the Extra, and it’s pre-filled with 8 milliliters of e-liquid. And the 1,000 mAh battery will deliver around 2,500 puffs. That’s 70 per cent more than the original model.

Perhaps surprisingly, however, there’s very little difference in the size of the device. It’s still the same cylindrical shape. It’s still lightweight and portable. And it’s still entirely possible to carry multiple devices if you want a choice of flavors.

As a disposable vape, there’s no maintenance to worry about here. It’s designed to be thrown away when you’ve finished with it. Some stockists offer multipacks, which are a good option if you don’t want to run out unexpectedly. They’re usually a little more economical too.

This is the longest lasting of any of Fume’s models. The 1,500 mAh battery is efficient and dependable, with enough power to deliver around 3,500 puffs.

That larger capacity has necessitated a different design. Gone is the simple tube vape. In its place is a small rectangular tank, containing twin chambers.
