Hybrid E-Juice in Canada and the United Kingdom

Canada and Europe maintain certain laws and regulations regarding vaping and vape products. One of these regulations includes a limitation on the nicotine concentration of vape juices sold in those territories: companies and manufacturers can only sell juices with up to 2mg/mL nicotine, equivalent to 2% nicotine concentration.

Pop Vapor developed hybrid nicotine e-liquids for those territories. Common nicotine concentrations in the United States are around 2.5% or 5%, considered to give the most familiar throat hit to vapers. A lower concentration may not always provide that kick, so Pop Vapor experimented with using a combination of freebase and nic salts.

Freebase nicotine is the purest form of nicotine, giving the harsh hit that most smokers are familiar with. Nicotine salts provide a more mellow kick, giving a smoother puff. To mimic the throat hits and sensations that 5% nicotine concentration juices have, Pop Vapor combined various 1mg/mL and 2mg/mL nicotine content to balance the harsh kicks of freebase and the smooth puffs of nic salts.

The Pop Flex provides around 3000 puffs powered by an unspecified battery and 8ml of e-liquid. However, it lacks a screen for monitoring e-liquid levels.

Pop Vapor has an extensive lineup of disposable vapes for their US store. Each model can come in a variety of flavors and in a variety of e-liquid amounts. Each disposable vape works with an automatic draw system, so you simply need to inhale and the device will do its thing.

There is a POP disposable vape at almost every price point below $20, so you would be hard-pressed to find one that’s not right for you. All POP disposable models also come in a brightly colored package depending on your chosen flavor, except for the POP Pro and Lite, which is black across all flavors.

The POP Solo and the POP Lite also have unique designs compared to the disposable vape pen designs of the other models. The POP Solo has a squarish form, presumably to accommodate a larger battery and tank. The POP Lite, on the other hand, has an almost flat design, like a small notebook.

All disposable models are pre-charged, so they are all ready to go the moment you buy them. However, only the POP Solo is rechargeable via a USB Type-C charging cable with which the device comes bundled. The POP Solo is also the disposable with the largest capacity, holding 14 mL of pre-filled e-liquid.

In terms of e-liquids, there are not a lot of choices in POP disposables aside from flavors. All disposables are pre-filled with e-liquids that contain 5% nicotine that is not derived from tobacco. All of them also use a mesh coil as their heating element.

The Pop Hit Twist Slim Pen is an adjustable voltage battery pen with a USB smart charger. The battery capacity is 320 mAh, and you can adjust the voltage from 3.3V to 4.8V. It is a 510-threaded battery, so it is compatible with 510-threaded cartridges.

There are 12 colors to choose from: rainbow, slime green, rose gold, black night, pretty in pink, blue sky, chrome, camo, tangerine, mellow yellow, gold rush, and ghost white.

To use the pen, rapidly press the lone button five times to turn it on or off. Once the LED indicator blinks, that means the battery is on. To preheat, rapidly press the button twice. A dial at the bottom of the pen will allow you to adjust the voltage from 3.3V to 4.8V.

The adjustable voltage allows the pen to handle distillates and concentrates that may be too thick for weaker atomizers that are found in some devices. You’ll find that most people use the pen to vape CBD and THC oils.

3. Disposable Vapes – UK Price & Details (£5.99)

Pop Vapor’s UK store has a more limited product line, with only two disposable vape models on display. Their Pop Flex is similar to the US store’s Pop Flex, while the Pop Stix is a model unique to the UK store.

Both models offer virtually the same vaping experience, with both of them holding the same amount of e-liquid at 2 mL. Both models also have a 2% nicotine concentration, which is different from the e-liquids in the US store.

The only apparent difference between the Stix and the Flex, aside from their device design, is the available flavors on each model: the Stix has 11 flavors, while the Flex has 12 flavors. All flavors are considerably unique. Similar to the US disposables, the Stix and the Flex has bright colors on their package, varying depending on the flavor of the disposable.

The Stix is also marketed to have anti-leak technology on the device.

The Canadian store of Pop Vapor also has a separate product lineup. They have a wider lineup than the UK store, with a number of disposable models unique to them, too. Only the Pop Bar is the model that is present in both the CA and US stores.

All disposable vapes unique to the CA store are rechargeable, either via a micro-USB or USB Type-C charging cable. Similar to the UK models, all of them, even the Pop Bar, also have a 2% nicotine concentration. They all have the same mesh coil technology, except for the Pop Mega Mesh, which has triple mesh coil technology.

As with other Pop devices, these disposables have brightly colored packages that vary depending on the flavor. A distinct difference is that the Pop Box has a variant called the Pop Box G.O.A.T., which features a dark package and a separate set of flavors from the original Pop Box.

The CA store is the only store where Pop Vapor offers pod devices. The POP HIT Original is a closed pod system based on the S platform design. That means that all S-compatible pods can be used on this device.

The Original and the Camo are actually the same devices; the Camo is simply a reskin of the Original, adding a camo design onto the device. Aside from that, the Original and Camo sport the same features: equipped with a 420 mAh battery, pre-filled with a 2 mL pod, use an automatic draw system and have an LED indicator. The device comes with a USB Type-C charging cable and an instruction manual.

The Original has five colors to choose from: blue, red, champagne, silver, and black. The Camo has three: Camo Grey, Camo Blue, and Camo Green.

As a closed pod system, the POP HIT is not refillable, rather, you simply swap out the pod for a new one. Pop Vapor sells their own Pop Pods, which contain 2 mL of e-liquid with 2% nicotine. They have three lines of flavors: Hybrid, Hybrid G.O.A.T., and Hybrid Evergreen.

Other brands that produce pods that would fit in a POP HIT device are Stlth and Allo Sync.

In fact, the US store lists the POP Pro as the Pop Disposable Device, which might indicate that the POP Pro is simply the Pop Disposable Device but rebranded into a new model.

Do Pop Vapes have nicotine?

Yes, all Pop Vapes, including the original Pop Disposable Device, use e-liquid that has nicotine. All US store disposable vape models have a 5% nicotine concentration, while UK and CA models only have a 2% nicotine concentration.

In the past, Pop Vapor used to offer 0% nicotine concentration on their original Pop Disposable Devices, although it was discontinued and was not revived again.

Can you refill a Pop Vape?

All models of Pop Vapor devices, even their rechargeable Pod Devices, are non-refillable. Several models are rechargeable, such as the Pop Glow and Pop Box, so that you can reliably finish their high-capacity tanks.

The POP HIT Original is not refillable; it is a closed pod system, which means that you need to replace the pod once it is empty.
