How long does a SMOK cartridge last?

SMOK offers many different cartridge types and sizes there isn’t a single number we can give here. Additionally, it also depends on how often you use it. Generally, most vape cartridges will last somewhere between 1 and 2 weeks.

As that’s not especially specific, however, the capacity of vaping cartridges is usually measured in puffs, i.e. how many puffs the cartridge can produce. Even that isn’t really an exact measurement, however, as the depth and length of each individual puff can also vary from person to person – lighter inhales mean more puffs and a longer lifespan.

How do you use a SMOK vape for the first time?

The first step of using a SMOK vape would be to fill it up with your e-liquid of choice. If you’ve just bought it pre-filled or you’re using a SMOK disposable, you won’t need to do this. After that, just press the Fire button on the device – the main on/off button. If you’re having trouble locating it, consult the vape’s instructions – every model is a bit different after all.

Lastly, just start inhaling. If this is your first time, you’d want to pace yourself. Start with a light and slow inhalation in your mouth – a slow inhale for about 4 to 6 seconds is usually enough. Don’t inhale directly in your lungs yet – that’s a valid way of vaping too but you might want to get the hang of the basics first – first inhale the vape into your mouth and then into the lungs, again – slowly.

After that, just exhale lightly and gently, take a deep breath, and follow up with a second inhale when you’re ready.

How long does it take for SMOK to charge?

Depending on the type of device and its model, SMOK vapes will have different batteries. Some get fully charged for as little as an hour, others can take anywhere between 2 and 4 hours. If you’re uncertain what’s the charging time in your case, you can consult with the device’s instructions.

Can I leave my SMOK charging overnight?

If you’re worried about overheating your vape device and getting into a fire accident – don’t be, leaving your SMOK charging overnight can’t lead to anything like that. That’s because your SMOK almost certainly has a failsafe that stops it from overheating (unless you’re using a really old and/or off-brand device).

It’s still not a good idea to do this, however, because your device will keep using a tiny trickle of electricity while it is plugged in so that it constantly stays at 100%. While, again, this can’t lead to any major accidents, it will wear down the device’s battery a fair bit, especially if you do that often.

How many times can you refill a SMOK pod?

An open system pod mod is generally intended to be refilled four to five times. This can vary depending on the type of device as well as how you’ve used it but it’s generally advisable to replace the pod rather than refill it after the fourth or fifth reuse.

Why does my SMOK vape hurt my throat?

If your throat aches after a hit from a SMOK vape, don’t fear – it likely isn’t anything serious nor is it due to a problem with the vape. A throat ache is most often caused by an overly strong hit or a throat hit. This happens either because the strength of the e-liquid was too high, i.e. there was too much nicotine in it, and/or because you inhaled too much too fast.

If that has happened to you, you can usually just wait for the sensation to pass away. You can also try drinking something soothing to alleviate the aching. After that, it’s advisable to get a lighter e-liquid with less nicotine in it as well as to start taking lighter puffs. Changing the device’s coils can also help in some cases.
